आजकाल रेमण्ड कंपणी मध्ये अधिक साप बाहेर निघत आहेत याच कारण असे आहे की त्या ठिकाणी खोदकाम व ईतर काही काम सुरू असल्याने साप बाहेर येत राहतात..तिकडचे security अतिशय घाबरतात कारणामुळे मला बोलवतात आणि त्वरित पोहोचतोही.
असचं एक दिवस पाडव्या च्याच दिवशी बाहेर कामासाठी गेलो असता रेमण्ड मधुन snake call आला व मी Bike फिरवली आणि त्या ठिकाणी पोहोचलो.
तर साप काही दिसेना कारण दगडा खाली होता तरी त्यांनी सांगितलेलं की नाग आहे मोठा.तस मी सावधान झालो.
तेव्हा नेमकी माझ्या कडे हत्यार नव्हतं तरिही योग्य तो अंदाज लावुन तिथुन तो नाग / Cobra काढण्यात आला व योग्य ति वेळ बघुन नागाला BagPack करण्यात आले. शेवटी माझ्या सर्वात आवडीचे काम साप पकडून माहिती देऊन त्याला सुरक्षित निसर्गमुक्त करणे. आणि आज काल बघु शकता की सर्पमित्रांची संख्या वाढली तर आहेच.... तसेच मुली देखिल सर्पमैत्रिण म्हणुन साप व अन्य प्राणी वाचवण्याचं काम व्यवस्तीत करत आहेत.
(सर्पमित्र व सर्पमैत्रिण ही संकलपना आहे. ह्या साठी कोणत्याही प्रकारची पदवी किंवा degree ची आवश्यकता नाही.फक्त प्राणीमात्रांवर प्रेम करा. स्वता:च्या मनातुन ही आवड निर्माण झाली पाहिजे... असं नाही का दुसरा करतोय किंंवा करतेय म्हणुन मला पण करायचय.चुकीची माहिती आणि चुकीची पध्दत माणसाचा,स्वत: चा व सापाचा जिव घेऊ शकते.)

नाग व कोब्रा या विषारी सापा विषयी सगळे जाणुनच असाल.
Common 4 Venomous Snake मधला ३रा क्रमांकावर हा साप येतो विषा मध्ये. व्हिडीओ मध्ये तुम्ही पाहू शकता की नागा ने जो सुंदर असा फणा काढलाय त्या साठी नाग हा प्रसिध्द आहे. देवांमध्ये प्रवेश केला असता नाग एक शंकराच रुप मानलं जातं.त्या मुळे नागाला सहसा मारत नाहीत.
काही नागाला फणा मागे निषाण सुध्दा नसतात. विषामध्ये neurotoxic या सापाच आहे.
याची ओळख डोळ्या खाली काजळ लावतात तसं याच्या देखिल डोळ्या खाली तसचं आहे. तोंड अर्धगोलाकार आणि फणा काढल्यावर समजून जावे की़ नाग आहे.
